Validation of a TAM Technology Acceptance Model in Dominican University Students

In the context of virtualization university education due to Covid-19 pandemic, we conducted a study establish determinants intention use virtual classroom, following theoretical model based on Technology Acceptance Model modified by Park (2009) and including factors Attitude, Perceived Usefulness, Ease, Virtual Self-Efficacy, Subjective Norm Accessibility system. The sample consisted 1260 self-selected students from 13 Dominican universities. To check validity reliability measurement instrument, performed Confirmatory Factor Analysis, which determined that System factor had be eliminated because it was single item did not have discriminatory validity. One bring an acceptable reliability. general, instrument sustained, but its fit indices with could improved. With Multiple Mediation were able verify Norm, social factor, most significant statistical influence Intention Use both directly indirectly. Indirectly, mediated Usefulness Attitude. other influence, indirectly, Self-efficacy. this Self-efficacy
